2015 “STOP THE HATE” Tour

Presentation by Local Artist Teaches Students to Take a Stand Against Bullying

Students from Richmond Heights elementary and secondary schools participated in an interactive and inspiring anti-bullying presentation by Cleveland artist Miles Smith, aka Humble G Tha Fiddla, on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at the Secondary School gym. The presentation was part of the 2015 “STOP THE HATE” tour, which visits K-12 schools across the greater Cleveland area in order to raise awareness regarding the issue of bullying.

Scholastics Art Competition
Our Art department under the direction of Mrs. Carol Tizzano worked with our students in preparation for the annual Scholastics Art Competition which is a highly competitive art competition at both the regional and national level.  Our school submitted 35 pieces of artwork and received notification that we have two students who received honorable mentions for their paintings. As a result both students will be invited to a reception to be held at the Cleveland Institute of Art in January 2015.
